Proximal Femoral Nail System (PFNA)

• Medial-lateral angle of 5°, allowed to be placed from the top of the greater trochanter.
• The flattened proximal lateral design makes it easier for nail insertion.
• Optimal stress distribution throughout the implant.
• The elastic tip and groove design facilitate easier insertion and avoid stress concentration at the distal end.

Clinical Indications:

Standard PFNA: Intertrochanteric fractures (31-A1, 31-A2), Reverse intertrochanteric fractures (31-A3), High position Subtrochanteric fractures.

Long PFNA: Low and extended subtrochanteric fractures, Ipsilateral trochanteric fractures, Multiple fractures in the proximal femur, Pathological fractures.
