📝 Product Description
Orthopedic Spinal Fixation Vertebral Hook Medical Instrument

Introduction:

The intervertebral fusion cage is a large, hollow cylinder made of high-grade titanium. It is designed as a "cage" so that bone graft can be placed inside the hollow cylinder to allow a spinal fusion to occur between two vertebrae. The holes throughout the cage allow bone to form around and through the cage connecting the two vertebrae with solid bone.

Modern intervertebral fusion cages are designed for both traditional open incision or advanced laparoscopic procedures. The laparoscopic approach uses smaller incisions and specialized camera equipment, potentially leading to faster recovery and reduced tissue damage.

Key Functions:

🔹 Decompression: Spreads vertebrae to enlarge nerve root openings, decreasing irritation.
🔹 Stabilization: Tightens surrounding ligaments to decrease segmental instability and mechanical pain.
🔹 Support: Replaces the disc and maintains correct positioning until natural fusion occurs.

Utilizing a 5.5/6.0 screw-rod system for spinal internal fixation with double/single thread options. Available in sterile or non-sterile packaging.

Indications for Use:

Degenerative spondylolisthesis (vertebral slipping)
Spinal fractures (bone breaks)
Scoliosis (spinal curvature)
Kyphosis (humpback disorder)
Spinal tumors (cancerous growths)
